Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo
Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo joined the PRCA in 1942, and is home to one of the finest venues in the sport. Thanks in part to the great work of the committee, the rodeo has enjoyed countless consecutive sellouts. It’s also been home to a Wrangler Champions Challenge event each year since 2014, which also sells out. Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo is a long-standing member of the Wrangler Million Dollar Silver Tour, and is the 24th rodeo to be inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame since the inaugural class in 1979. It also is the first Utah rodeo to be inducted in the ProRodeo Hall of Fame. Steven Money, rodeo director and fairgrounds manager for the City of Spanish Fork, has been instrumental in making the Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo what it is today. Members of the Diamond Fork Riding Club started the rodeo with their own funds in 1942, and thanks to great support over the years the rodeo has grown to its elite status. The rodeo has been the site of many memorable moments, including July 25, 1988, when the legendary World Champion Lane Frost rode ProRodeo Hall of Fame bull Red Rock, of the Growney Brothers Rodeo Company, during the storied “Challenge of the Champions” event and a world record team roping run of 3.7 seconds by Tee Woolman and Bobby Harris in 1986; that record stood for 15 years. The Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2016.
