Pendleton Round-Up
“Let ‘er Buck.” The Pendleton Round-Up was first stage in September 1910. It is held each September at the grass-covered Pendleton Round-Up Arena, drawing more than 65,000 spectators annually. It is one of the PRCA’s top 10 prize-money rodeos. The Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Hall of Fame was created in 1969, the first such hall of fame in North America started by an individual rodeo. Pendleton received the PRCA Large Outdoor Rodeo Committee of the Year Award in 2003, 2010 (they tied for the award with Cheyenne) and again from 2015-2018. The Pendleton Round-Up was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2008.
