Don Hutsell and Sonny Riley (who also co-owns Flying 5 Rodeo) formed Big Bend Rodeo in April 1992 when they bought Kelsy and McLean Rodeo Company from Ralph McLean. They found a rodeo star with bareback and saddle bronc horse Spring Fling.
