He was born in New York City May 1916, and died in Story Wyoming, December 1996. He worked for Ralston Purina company as a staff artist and was assigned to cover the rodeo circuit and do quick sketches of cowboys and other attendees at rodeos all over the U.S. He took photos as well, and then did drawings from his photographs. He knew all the 'big names' in rodeo in the 60's - Jim Shoulders, Casey Tibbs, etc.
